I am so scared. Is

there anything I can do?

This may sound personal, but are his bowels open? I mean, really open and working a couple times a day. I know when I get sick I notice that I am also blocked up "down there" 99% of the time, and when I take an herbal laxative, the sickness usually starts clearing out. Sluggish bowels put pressure on the entire body as the toxins are reabsorbed. I have a friend who gets migraines and she also has a problem being regular in her elimination functions.

I use the deep tissue repair oil on my temples when I get a migraine. Just DON'T get it in his eyes!!!! :)) You may have to put it on twice depending upon the severity of it - but it works for my migraines. At the bare minimun it'll bring the pain down to the point where he won't want to kill himself to get out of the pain.

Has he been to a chiro? I find that when a certain place in my neck

is out the muscles react and restict the blood flow to my brain

giving me a terrible headache. (And making me an airhead)

I have a nerve pain remedy but unless you have the material on hand, it will do you little good. what used to help me sometimes was massaging the neck muscles gently and the depression above the Medula oblongato. Most of the time nothing helped. Excedrin or BC were sometimes helpful. I don't have them any more, though.

What was the Dr's prognoses?

Here are all my notes for pain:

NERVE PAIN REMEDY ratio of ingredients (this is for a tincture):

1/2 droperful each tinctures of VERVAIN leaves and GINGER ROOT

1 tsp. each tinctures of FRESH OATS, SKULLCAP LEAVES, ST JOHN'S WORT flowering tops, and LICORIS root.

mix together and for emergency pain take 1 dropperful every half hour as needed,or, for chronic pain, take 2 to 4 dropperfuls a day. [see formulas to make tinctures.]

A dropperful under the tongue at the onset of a headache usually does the trick!!!

This really works for me. [LMH] Think I got this from Kathi Keville's book 'Herbs for Health and Healing'

Rodale Press, Inc, Emmaus, PA

~~~~~~~~~~~
Also, if it is nerve/tension pain, Black Cohosh, Cayenne, Ginger, Hops, Mistletoe, St. swort, Valerian and Wood Betony will help to relax you. Hope this helps!
SCUTELLARIA (Skullcap) Any pain, myalgia, neuralgia from spinal or peripheral nerve irritability but
without organic causes; hyperfunctions of skin nerves and CNS end organs; sciatica, neuritis shingles; lessens surface irritability to acupuncture, TNS, massage and even spinal adjustments; nocturnal neuropathies, choreas, and seizures where overt drug treatment might be an excess.
HERB. Tincture [Fresh Plant, 1:2, Recent Dry Plant, 1:5, 50% alcohol] 20-60 drops to 3x a day.
CONTRA: With other drug depressants or where a stronger approach is needed; can anesthetize lips, fingers, toes.
Hi,
My husband had a migraine headache. He was prone to seeing spots before his eyes, then one heck of a headache would follow. On this day, the migraine was in full swing. I asked if he would try a dab of DMSO on each temple in the hollow? He said he would but didn't believe it would help. I waited about 5 to 10 minutes and asked how his headache was? He was shocked it had disappeared. We did this from then on and he never had another one of those spells.
