Guest guest
Hello, I am a member of the WA Thyroid group. I am a ThyCa (cancer) survivor and have Hashimoto's Disease (auto-immune thyroiditis). I had a total thyroidectomy last year and my anti-tpo titers are dropping. But I am still battling some autoimmune issues. And just yesterday, I was diagnosed with HepC Viral. I do not know the #'s yet, how heavy my viral load is, or even what genotype of the virus I have. I worry mainly for my husband and children and pray that they are not infected. I have a friend w/ MS who has been telling me about the miracle of LDN treatment. She says it has had an amazing effect on her disease and is useful in treating many AI diseases and cancers. I am also being evaluated for Behcet's Disease and will be seeing a neurologist soon about my symptoms. These include myoclonic jerks and tics, bladder spasms, apthous ulcers of the tongue, pernicious anemia, etc. Has anyone in this group had any experience with HCV and LDN treatment? In particular I would like to know what the starting dose usually is and what pharmacy to use to get the naltrexone. Can it be used in conjunction with interferon or ribavirin? Any information would be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much, Lara Seattle, WA
