Guest guest
Hi Sonya, In Chinese medicine the spleen and stomach are closely related. Spleen is yin, stomach is yang. Each organ has a partner like that :-) (heart/small intestine, lung/colon, kidney/bladder, liver/gallbladder). The pairs are usually identified by their yin rather than yang partner, so digestion is often associated with the Spleen. -
Guest guest
Caroline, Tell your friend to check out http://www.bowchow.com and browse around. I'm not sure about diets for "no spleen", but there are diets for dogs with cancer...... Cheers, and the K9's I have a question in regards to what can be done to help a dog who had his spleen removed. This person I know has asked if there is anything special that should be done now, after having this procedure done. She was insistent that it was cancer prior to the spleen removal.....
