A nuclear pharmacy tech works with radioactive tracer diagnostic and

therapeutic medications. These drugs are designed to detect cardiac

disease and many types of cancers. They are compounded in a vertical

laminar flow hood and dispensed in syringes and delivered to

hospitals and clinics.

You work with a specially trained nuclear pharmacist. And, don't

worry, it's not scary or dangerous. Nuclear pharmacies are 24 hour,

365 day facilities. That means that days, nights, weekends and

holidays are involved. You have no patient contact.

I could go on and on, but if you're still interested, I can give you

a website that will explain everything in depth.

Let me know on this website if you would like that info.

Dear ,

PLEASE provide the website. We have many tech members who are not

studying for CPhT, mainly because they aleady are CPhT, and who love

more and more information.

I'll put it in the file/links section.

Thanks

Jeanetta

PS can you provide us with one math calculation example? I think you

are the best qualified to do that and also it will show one what is

involved.
