Radios with signal level indicator

I recently tried a Grundig radio which has a signal level indicator -- it's a

bit better than going by sound only and now I can reach as low as 150 kHz

frequency. However I only have 5 levels on my indicator.

Does anyone have a favorite radio (normal or ham) that is recommended for

measurement?
