This causes the bumps. It is harmless and only looks bad. Your son will do well to take a long hot bath soaking his arm and then using a luffa, skin brush, or stiff wash rag to wash his arms with. Also will do a lot of good to begin a routine of dry skin brushing on a daily basis before he bathes. Preferrable would be to have him do it twice a day morning and before bed. Dry skin brushing is wonderful for the skin. It keeps it looking great, clean, shiny, and healthy looking. I highly recommend it to any and every one to do. Hope this answers your questions . Peace be with you. -- Peace, love and light, Don Quai " Spirit sleeps in the mineral, breathes in the vegetable, dreams in the animal and wakes in man. His body is working just fine. This is quite common among children preadolescent and into their teenage years. -- Peace, love and light, Don Quai " Spirit sleeps in the mineral, breathes in the vegetable, dreams in the animal and wakes in man. Just make sure you cleanse his arms and face really well. Use a very mild or soft natural bristled brush to dry skin brush his body on a daily basis. This does wonders for the skin and helps to move the lymph too. -- Peace, love and light, Don Quai " Spirit sleeps in the mineral, breathes in the vegetable, dreams in the animal and wakes in man. When I posted about this to the WAPF chapter leaders, Sally responded that she feels it's related to vitamin A deficiency. She had it when she was a teenager (when mine started, too) but it's gone now. Others posted that upping their intake of vitamin A and D have helped. One person wrote that sodium lauryl sulfate exacerbated hers, and upping her intake of vitamin A and D were key to getting rid of it. I have upped my intake of vitamin A, but so far mine is worse, not better. Soon I will start taking high vitamin cod liver oil to see if more A will help. It's very frustrating! Some people report that the condition gets better in the summer, when their skin is exposed to more sun. Vitamin D may be key. I hope that someone will have more insight. The best I can do now is to exfoliate mechanically (scrub) and moisturize (I use coconut oil). This doesn't cure it, of course, it only makes it appear to be less present. I'd made most of my NT diet changes, but wasn't taking CLO, and still had the little bumps. I started the CLO and, at some point -- but i don't know when, I looked at my arms again and all the bumps were gone and have stayed gone! I take 1 tsp of the Blue Ice daily, fwiw. Let us know if you see improvement after more time.

I ordered Blue Ice recently and had planned to take 1 tsp daily , too! I have been taking CLO for months, but it has been Nordic Naturals, which is low in A and D compared to Blue Ice. Blue Ice will be listed in the WAPF shopping guide next year.
