I've never grown any vegetables, unfortunately, and don't knowanything at all about peppers. When is it ready for picking? Does it ripenon the vine?Regards, Holly

Suzi " Good question! I just did a search. Wow, so many varieties. I am not sure but I think it is Capsicum chinense - a cousin to the Habaneros perhaps? - since Habaneros is also Capsicum chinense. I think my peppers have a way to go until maturity. Nice pepper link: http://www.plantations.cornell.edu/collections/botanical/peppers.cfm Regards, Holly
