I live in South Florida and have a Neuro here, but make my yearly appts. with Dr. Bihari. There is a Neurologist on Staten Island that writes scripts for LDN tho. His name is Dr. Purrell...(i'll have to check the spelling) Where are you? In NY?? Let me know if you're interested in this Dr. on the Island. I can get the info for you if you'd like. As for my doctor's acknowledgement, i've been with him for over 5 yrs. and he's seen me at my very worst. As I said earlier, he is interested in the LDN, just needs more "scientific" information on it. Just knowing he agrees with me on the fact that the LDN is working for me is a HUGE beginning!! Hopefully, your Doctor will remove his blinders and start seeing the wonderful changes in his own patient. At least you're on it, even if it is without his approval.....GOOD FOR YOU!!! I see Coyle at the Stonybrook MS clinic 2X a yr. . She is the "MS/Lymes Maven" Has no personality and was the lead investigator for Rebif. I have a feeling she will dump me as a patient since she is not treating me so I thought your doc sounded great. I really don't need a neuro now, but thought maybe if I did I would at least have one that someone recommended and actually liked. Bahari is a saint and gave me my life back. I know you think highly of him too! Where in Fla. are you? I have a place on Marco Island and go every chance I get. Just love it there, but, I have a 14 yr old and until he finishes high school I can only go for short periods. Thanks again for reply . Next time you sneak away to Marco Island, give me a heads up!!!
