Guest guest
http://www.medsmex.com/xcart/customer/home.php You could give up on your doctor, buy the naltrexone from the above link, and dissolve it in water. There have been some excellent directions posted on how to do that. My doctor has retired, so at the end of my one year prescription I will most likely go the Medsmex route myself. It isn't expensive, and since you are dissolving the med in water you have far greater control over the dosage. Right now I'm trying 2.25mg, a problem since my cap are 3's and 1.5's. If I were making my own solution that dosage would be a matter of how much solution is sucked into a graduated eye dropper. ----- Original Message ----- From: " roland " <raw@...> <low dose naltrexone > Sent: Sunday, June 06, 2004 11:24 AM Subject: [low dose naltrexone] Re: Obtaining LDN > Hi all I have been trying to obtain LDN for months. Guest guest
I wish I could send you to my Dr.it seems that our small town Dr.s aren't afraid of going off the beaten track as much as our well trained but misguided Neurologists, failing that I myself would get a hold of meds mex and knowing how good it works build my own. Guest guest
Hi Roland, My husband just had a phone consult with a Dr. Ayre from Burr Ridge, IL for $150. His phone # is 630 321-9010. He also processed the LDN prescription the same day and the pharmacy he sent it to (We ask him to send it to Skips in Boca Raton, FL because we'd heard good things about them getting the compound right.) called the same day and sent it within the week. Skips seems to be a lot cheaper too-about $16 including shipping for 30 days. Their phone # is 800 553-7429. They use Avicel for a filler, which is basically paper so does not interfere with the Best Bet Diet-( http://www.msrc.co.uk/index.cfm?fuseaction=show & pageid=281 & CFID=556705 & CFTOKEN=84899128 ), which my husband is on, or any food allergies you may have. We went through a GP, 2 Neurologists and a Naturopath, plus countless calls to other Drs.before we got Dr. Ayre's name off of this website, so we know your frustration. When my husband called they faxed him his paperwork (or would have sent it by mail) he needed to fill out, just like any new Dr.(except they would just hand it to you-ha) and he sent it back by overnight mail, so they set up a phone consult right away and the Dr. called and talked to him for about 30 min. at their expense. My husband is to call back in a few weeks for a follow up and if all goes well he will give him a refillable prescription. The prescription was for 4.5mgHope this helps .
