Guest guest
, I relate so much to what you're saying. I feel like I need someone to manage my condition, but I'm the only one who can do it. I am also overwhelmed--quite frankly, I think smart people are, because we project and analyze... Some things I've learned: 1. Having made the gigantic error taking a homeopathic remedy after only three months on LDN, one big piece of advice is to give LDN time to work. 2. Make sure you're taking the basic nutritional supplements first. For example, do you take a multivitmain? 3. Get enough rest and try to eat healthy meals. 4. According to Dr. Bihari, we should be taking 1400 IU of Vitamin D. He doesn't believe it makes sense to take more, because there hasn't been enough good research done. 5. Everyone seems to agree that we should be taking fish oil. 6. Depending on what part of your body is affected, you might look in pool therapy or physical therapy, but take it slow. 7. Limit the amount of time you spend researching MS treatments. There is so much information out there, it can make you CRAZY. 8. Accept your limitations, if you have any, and don't beat yourself up over them. I'm new to this too, so I'm sure that other people will have more detailed advice for you. BUT I think it's normal to be overwhelmed. And communicating helps.

Interesting how you say this. Before MS, I had always taken a multi " just cause " . Now I really notice a difference if I forget to take that or my B-complex. When I start researching again after a much needed and deserved vacation just hubby and I, I think suppliments will be where I focus. Although I was dx over a year ago with MS, just in the last few months have I gone crazy with researching anything and everything. I think this board sparked a ton of curiousity for me and my brain just ran wild. Thanks to everyone for all the positive feedback.
