Guest guest
The doctor that I went to was Dr. Sam Ong and Dr. Chua. They are in El Monte, CA (about 1 hour from you.) You might try them. There is also a website which is gtl herbs. Lee Dr. Chua happened to be on my medical insurance and was covered at 100% even the diflucan (some plans will not cover this treatment.) But they will help you in any way they can. >From: " Fasano " <christina@...> >Reply-candidiasis >candidiasis >Subject: Re: Doctor? >Date: Fri, 24 Aug 2001 18:47:19 -0700 > >Does anyone know of a doctor in San Diego that treats yeast infections or >someplace on the web I can search for one? > >_________________________________________________________________ >Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp > _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp
Guest guest
Try this site. Read through it...I think you can do a phone consult and the doctor will send you some products. You have to read around on the site to find it though. http://www.geocities.com/HotSprings/4966/fm.htm ********************** Subject: Re: Doctor? > Does anyone know of a doctor in San Diego that treats yeast infections or > someplace on the web I can search for one? > > _________________________________________________________________ > --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Guest guest
Lynn, I am not sure if there is anyone closer to you, but I go to Dr. Neal in Olympia. The toll free number is 866-722-6363. THe web address is www.pacificsurgical.com I was banded in Mexico by Dr. Kuri. I believe Dr. Neal and Dr. Kuri have a good realtionship and have the same philosophy when it coems to the band. I have not ever actually met Dr. Neal, but have heard great things about him. I have had two fills in his office. He uses fluoroscopy every time. I have told many people that the longest and most painful part of getting my fill there is the running of my debit card. I have felt out of place at the support group there, as the attitude is not often Mexico friendly, but I didn't get that feeling when I went for my fills. banded by Dr. Kuri 7/21/06 367/291/under 200 > > Sandyrn, this one is specifically to you. > I have been banded since July 2003. Guest guest
Hi, Lynn - Just Sandy R, thanks! :-) Although I continue to teach, advise, and offer suggestions about the band when i can, i'm pretty much retired from formal nursing by now. I think you might mean that you have been unfilled for overfills, not erosions - erosions are rare, very serious, and all require band removal right away. I agree that you need a fluoro, with your history of problems. We all need one every few months in the active " lose and fill " period, and yearly thereaftere for life. Our bands need regular assessment and care, far more thn simply blind fills. I also highly recommend Dr. Bill Neal in Olympia and Shelton, south of Seattle. He sees many MX patients and he and his staff are excellent. I'd recommend you CALL him as you would any other doc. Computers are not a reliable way of communicating impt things. They will need you to call and set a time and will ask you several questions about what is going on, to determine when to see you. Here is info on Dr Neal and his prasctice: http://www.pacsurgical.com/ If fills have been especially hard, they should be done under fluoro only, imo. I'm hoping you have been back to your surgeon at least yearly for followup and assessments... ? When we (me and Dan included, of course, as we both chose MX surgeons)choose a doc far away, we then must accept extra responsibility to find and get the care we need, no matter if it is inconvenient or not. A little " inconvenience " is far better than serious problems that could lead to needing the band removed. Good luck - hope all is well.
