Guest guest
Each link is about 10 minutes. If you have time to watch ONLY ONE video link WATCH the LAST one regarding the UTAH PROTOCOL. PROVING that Phaseal closed system device is the ONLY such device to prevent the chemo mists from escaping into YOUR lungs, atmosphere on to your clothing and contaminating the environment. Part VI The CE is about 1 hour long with only 8 questions Respectfully, Jeanetta Mastron CPhT BS Founder/Owner > > Through STAT CE connected with NPTA you will find a FREE CE. > I found it by googling Phaseal and going to the Phaseal site. Guest guest
It may have something to do with the requirements of you computer. I had it stopping and going for about 3 seconds, but I hung in there on EACH of the 6 segments. after about the first 2 minutes it seemed to be fine. This is a time of 'buffering' even though it starts before buffering is completed.Funny thing was I found if I continuously move or wiggle the mouse that the 3 seconds go to 1 second!. You might try allowing it to upload, then waiting another full 3 to 5 minutes before you click on play to allow for buffering. Hope it works because they are great! The slides are of a Director of Pharmacy of a new hospital (forgot name) in Utah that did a state of the art clean room meeting USP 797 and NIOSH reqs. The camera is on him a lot. There are only about 6 slides. The LAST slide show the comparison of about six different devices in a controlled experiment in which ONLY Phaseal did NOT have any leakage. This means ALL other devices and connectors for chemo allow the MIST that I refer to, to escape into the hood, out of the hood (where one's arms are) into the lab, into the air ducts, into the general air of the facility to ALL workers, patients etc. ONLY a self contained hood a barrier isolator could prevent this. BUT the presentation goes on to say that in Europe , 10-20 yrs ahead of us does not use the barriers much any more. I did not pick up on the exact reasoning for this. But suffice it to say that the Carmel Phaseal was made and used in Europe LONG before it was introduced at the ASHP 2000 Las Vegas Convention for the first time. And they have used it mainly. Also it states that unless you have NOTHING else, the phaseal should still be used in a HOOD not alone. Hope that helps if you do not get the links to open, Respectfully, Jeanetta Mastron Beth <ebeth1118@...> wrote: I cant get them to play any more than 3 seconds long. --- Jeanetta Mastron CPhT BS Chemistry <rxjm2002@...> wrote: > Through STAT CE connected with NPTA you will find a > FREE CE. > I found it by googling Phaseal and going to the > Phaseal site. Guest guest
Phaseal is nice, from what i have seen however, it add 15 plus dollars per chemo, not that i don't think i am worth that, i certainly think that i am, but there are other systems that are a little less pricey that would provide better coverage then, we have now with out going to the phaseal i tried baxters version of it and i really disliked it, we are moving towards the Clave system. While it may not be as perfect as phaseal, it will provide me with a LOT more protection from the tops of vials and end of syringes. Just my 2 cents, have a wonderful day --tim -- No virus found in this outgoing message. SO it Should be alright..... --Tim Checked by AVG Free Edition. But if it does not provide as much portection why use it? " ...may not be as perfect as phaseal... " I appreciate your input. Would love to know more about it.
