Thank you, nukes. I read over the IL application, and it seems to be

saying that you have to apply for a certificate of registration (which

includes a $40 fee), and then you can work as a tech for up to 60 days

before they issue it to you, if I understand that correctly.

I'm glad this was pointed out, because I see that Ohio has much less

requirements. My family is in OH, and I am more inclined to go back

there and try to get started if my chances of getting hired or at

least volunteering would be better.
