Guest guest
Aegis thinks, not a good idea to LOL. This person has been paid to bash LDN. I have said this is a disinformation war between the LDN community and those who stand to loose the big $$. The public relations war will get worse, much worse. You can be sure that this is only the first salvo. No takers yet to be the EWC leader ?. --- In low dose naltrexone , " Joyce F. Guest guest
Hi Aegis .. I don't think that we are big enough yet for anybody to care enough to pay people to damage the LDN theory. There is no bad guy .. it is just an unbelievable story .. too wonderful for people to take in .. far too simple for many intellectuals. The reality here is ... it is a fact that stupid people exist. Such is life. You couldn't even argue with this git. The good thing is that he/she is wrong and the truth will come out in the end .. I just hope anyone that read it has the sense to investigate LDN further and see that whatever about anything else it cannot do any harm. Just in case .. I am going away for the weekend so if I don't check in on Monday ... scan the papers for 'mysterious disappearance of Irish Woman in NJ .. drug companies suspected' All the Best ... Aegis didn't you volunteer for EWC leader! .. I am sorry I just can't ... Zero time. > > Are any of you visitors of the www.spotlighthealth.com site? Guest guest
To blame a tumor on this FDA approved drug (and approved in a dose 5 or more times the typical LDN dose is beyond rediculous. I have frequented the Spotlight Health forums and am really surprised that Krimples would spread this kind of panic/hocum. I wonder what prompted her to blame LDN. It's like my mother wondering if my MS was caused by where I was born (because there is a person near where she is now who was born where I was and has developed MS). Of course there are many more people who have MS who weren't born anywhere near Missouri. The FDA approved dose for Naltrexone is 50mg. LDN is something like 3 to 8.5 mg. Does anyone else see how absurd the assertion is that LDN caused Krimple's tumors?
Guest guest
Since Krimples only took the LDN for 3 days it's easy to see the lie. I used to teach 3 gradel and had a mother accuse me once of causing her child's learning and social problems after I had been teaching her a few weeks!! There is all kinds of silliness out there. My husband just got LDN-yay! It's on it's way from Skips pharmacy anyway. Thank you, thank you to the person who posted the very nice and intellegent over the phone Dr. I'm sooo thankful some people use their common sense and look for answers instead of blanket answers handed to them by a drug company. The last letter my husband got from his neuro told him that LDN could cause liver damage-yeah right- maybe in the 50mg dose over many years! but that is FDA approved, so what does that tell us about the FDA? She(the neuro) really wants my husband to take one of the crabs-rebif, which she says have no problems and really work. Interesting that she would research LDN to see what bad things could happen, but she has never researched the crabs because she just takes the word of the drug companies who are selling the stuff! Thanks to all for all the info we have gleaned on this site! God bless, Terria Oregon, USA > 3 to 8.5 mg. Guest guest
We had that same problem a few months ago when a totally unrelated Ad was found on a totally different page from our Petition. The person threatened to take action against us because they saw an Ad that was GONE THE NEXT DAY. She then told all her friends that LDN was an Abortion Drug, well, that may not be exactly what she told her friends, but that's how her friends took it. How absurd! The truth did come out in the end, but not before some damage was done. You're right, you just can't argue with people like that. Once someone has a misconception, forget it. You just gotta laugh at them and hope the rest of the world sees their absurdity too. ----- Original Message ----- From: mboylebradley low dose naltrexone Sent: Thursday, May 27, 2004 16:06 Subject: [low dose naltrexone] Re: Help!!!..lol. Guest guest
And in 3 days the LDN 'caused' a fast growing tumor? I don't think so!! I have read enough, God knows, to know that we would all be astonished to really find out just how long most tumors and cancers have been growing before being discovered! That includes even the ones that are caught 'early'. My opinion is that more emphasis needs to be placed on prevention!! And to expand on that opinion, if one begins LDN and doesn't have any type of free radical already manifesting as a cancerous situation, there is a very good chance that they will not have that condition to arise! The LDN tends to balance hormone levels that are vital to taking care of such things. We aren't just reproductive hormones! We are supposed to produce hormones that we, and most doctors, have never even heard of!! As for myself, I believe that my body was so depleted of many important hormones prior to my first symptom (Optic Neuritis) that I didn't stand a chance without work in this area to ever get better. Since I began therapy that involved DHEA and Pregnenolone, I haven't had one reoccurance of ON since 2001 and my vision has returned to almost perfect. (The forty year old syndrome has set in!! I have to hold a book an arms length in order to read!) Up until then, I was having ON about ebery 3 - 4 months. It's that natural anti-inflammatory thing, I believe! Anyway, I've rambled enough! Guest guest
Has anyone ever read the book "Trust us were experts?" It talks a lot about how industries stir up negative controversy or positive controversy depending on what is needed. It a long read and is king of scary when you think about the way people are manipulated.
Guest guest
Dear Larry .. I do remember that episode but didn't realize action was threatened. I thought that the person ended up telling her friends to do their own thing which most had anyway .. but I can certainly see how damage could have unfortunately been done from a personal view that should not have been shared. In this instance as it is not political it would be easy to prove that the information is not correct but it is still very annoying. However to use the term stupid or git is not really helpful .. I must ask my doctor if he has a 'cool off before you post' patch for me. I am sure this person is decent and no more crazy than me but just scientifically misinformed and angry. The truth will come out in the end. Have a wonderful weekend All the Best > > Aegis thinks, not a good idea to LOL. This person has been paid to > > bash LDN.
