Guest guest
THANK YOU Dora for this very important Pharamacy NEWS Update! I tell my students about the mortician who removed the originial fentanyl patch from a body to be 'dressed'. It had no margin around the medication, so when he touched it to remove it he got an immediate dose of fentanyl meant for a cancer patient. Died! So this information may prevent some injury and potentially deaths of the caregivers and medical personnel. Again Thank you, Jeanetta Mastron CPhT BS Pharm Tech Educator Founder/Owner of this site > > Hi All- > has recalled ONE lot of 75mcg patches because some of the lot's > patches are leaking fentanyl gel. Guest guest
Dear All, Fentanyl patches were recalled earlier this year as well. I thought I would provide the FDA link to that recall so that you may take a look at the two recalls.
