Guest guest
Dear B3Z Thank you for your opinion. May I add this review to the list I am making on this site? Odd numbered keys have been around since I was a kid particularly in math text books. They alow the student to try all types of problems and for discussion in a classsroom setting. The book to which you refer is a text book and not sold as 'review book or study guide for the PTCB exam " . However it could be and is being used to augment exam study. However I bring this to your attention because most exam study guide books willhave anwsers to all quetions. Respectfully, Jeanetta b3zdomny <b3zdomny@...> wrote: " The Pharmacy Technician Series: Pharmacy Calculations " by Fix, Robin Luke, and Mike ston http://www.amazon.com/Calculations-Pharmacy-Technician-Mike-ston/dp/01311474\ 04 isbn: 0131147404 This is a slim (103 pages) volume that provided this math-challenged reviewer and newcomer to pharmacy technology with a good diagnostic. There are a few answer-key entries questionable even to the math-challenged (example: answers calculated to the adult dosage when the questions beg for answers adjusted to the pediatric dosage) but those are to be expected in a first edition. Another annoyance is an odd-numbered-answer-only key for chapter-review questions. Overall, this reviewer gives it three out of five stars. Guest guest
sounds like this is a textbook. any textbook I had with an answer key only had it for half the questions. --- b3zdomny <b3zdomny@...> wrote: " The Pharmacy Technician Series: Pharmacy Calculations " by Fix, Robin Luke, and Mike ston http://www.amazon.com/Calculations-Pharmacy-Technician-Mike-ston/dp/01311474\ 04 isbn: 0131147404 This is a slim (103 pages) volume that provided this math-challenged reviewer and newcomer to pharmacy technology with a good diagnostic.
