Guest guest
, I don't know what to make of things either. My legs are really uncomfortable, but I wonder if it really is just because I have so much more sensation in them... Am I just feeling things I couldn't feel before? We kind of joke about it around here, you know: I'll mention something different, some new sensation, discomfort, or whatever. My husband will say, " Is that good? " I'll respond that I don't know. " Well is it bad? " " I don't know... " " What does it mean then? " Shrug, roll eyes, " I don't know! " I figure I just have to wait and see what happens. If I'm getting better, well great! If I'm getting worse, well, how can I stop it? This is a really stupid disease, but look at all of the new friends we've made. And we've even managed to irritate a few people! Have a great holiday weekend, I'm sure we'll all be talking. ----- Original Message ----- From: " carrie_landau " <CLANDAU@...> <low dose naltrexone > Sent: Friday, May 28, 2004 5:26 PM Subject: [low dose naltrexone] MS but possibly not LDN > I've been on LDN for five months, and as I've written several times, > I took a homeopathic remedy which set me back about eight weeks. > Something seems to be changing now and I was curious if anyone else > has experienced this. Guest guest
What you 2 ladies are feeling in your calf muscles and other muscles is quite common with LDN treatment. Now it is up to you to stretch and massage those muscles that are saying Hello. Going to Wal-Mart, Target or other stores that carry the Homedics Shiatsu Kneading Massager is very important if you don't have access to a swimming pool on a weekly basis to stretch those awakened muscles. You can massage many muscles with this Shiatsu Kneading Massager. I absolutely love mine. Since the direct link to the massager is too long and won't print properly on this forum go to the link below and click, scroll down a ways on page for the link to the massager available at Wal-Mart. Continue with LDN therapy and stretch and massage all of your spastic/tight muscles. JUST DON'T FALL ASLEEP WITH THE MASSAGER RUNNING, YOU'LL HURT YOUR MUSCLES. PLUG MASSAGER INTO A TIMER SO IT WILL TURN OFF WITHIN 40 MINUTES OF STARTING MASSAGE IF YOU ARE PRONE TO FALL ASLEEP WHEN YOUR MUSCLES ARE RELAXED.
