1. Pass PTCB and No felonies in last 5 yrs

OR

2. Show proof of graduation from one of the following state approved pharm

tech programs or schools:

a. community college

b. vocational or private postsecondary pharm tech program/school

other state approved school that has a least 240 hours

c. military equivalent training

3. . Send LIVE scan finger prints

4. Provided the right type and size of photograph

5. Pay application fee

I did the second option but am unclear about something. I did the second and

recieved pharmacy tech certificate with a registration numbe. Does that mean I

that have to take the exam?

Dear ,

Answer to this question is NO! Your STATE registration will suffice to help you

find work. But again you may find that the pharmacy's policy is to hired

registered techs who also have a national (PTCB or ExCPT) certification.

By the way the rules you sited for registration appear to be those for

CALIFORNIA. Is this where you are?

Thanks
