Guest guest
Doug, you asked the question and Dr, B answered politely. He will never, ever, tell a patient to stop their CRAB meds. He tells you what he believes works and it is up to each indivudual to decide for themselves. Dr. Lawrence outright tells you to stop, because we cannot sue him. Guest guest
I too thought that they work against each other. But my Doctor and my Pharmasist both beleive that it should be OK to take both LDN and Betaseron. I did send a fax to Dr Bihari's office but I worded when I shared my story, I asked if I should continue my Betaseron NOT could I and still get the benifits of LDN if I continued Betaseron. He replied that I could stop my Betaseron, not that I should. I guess I should contact him again. I have been taking LDN with my Betaseron for the last 6 weeks. With the LDN I no longer have pain (was a 12 advil a day man) have not taken any pain medication since I started LDN. Also have more energy and am up to 15 push-ups a night. Have not been able to do more than one in almost two years. Have much more energy and less muscle problems. Still walk with a cane but my fingers are crossed I think I should stop the betaseron even thought I am obviously getting some benefit from LDN. Anyone have any thoughts?
