I was like you changing doses every couple of weeks, changing times I took it etc. I have been on the 4.5 now for a little more than a month taking it close to the same time.

Maybe the changing so often confused our body and that resulted in the stiffness, etc. I do know that for the last few weeks I have felt bad most of the time and had increased stiffness. And, the last few days have been absolutely miserable. I was about ready to resign myself to the fact that I was going to feel lousy all the time, and that I was proably one of those that LDN wasn't going to do anything for, except maybe stop progression.

I also know that I woke up again today feeling pretty darn good. Warm hands and feet and being able to walk some w/o the walker. I did not have a great night of sleep though, but I don't feel tired. We'll see as the day goes on.

I'm not going to change again, it seems I've finally gotten over the worst part (I hope). The changing just may make my body want to go in to a mode of not knowing what to do and result in the stiffness or weakness or whatever b/c it's confused again.

I don't know if this makes any sense, or is even a possibility, it's just an opinion.

Take care

Much what I was thinking; we need to settle to a dose and work through the side effects, giving it plenty of time. I decided when I moved up to 4.5 that I would choose to believe the stiffness was an indication the drug was causing changes in my body and work it through. I don't believe it is entirely due to unused muscles. I'm not using muscles for things I haven't been doing all along. Although I'm undoubtedly using them in a slightly different manner I don't think that can account for the leg stiffness. A different pair of shoes causes me to use my leg muscles in a slightly different manner and does cause a little soreness, but it is so different in nature from this that it convinces me the LDN related stiffness is different altogether in it's process and cause. But I am finding the more I do the sooner it subsides each day, and it is less on wakening than it was a week ago. I haven't rolled over in the night and caused cramps in my quads for several nights now.

Several people have sent me a positive response to my question regarding perspiration. If LDN is changing body processes in some way that permits normal perspiration I can't even imagine what other unseen and unfelt processes may be normalizing. Perhaps the muscle stiffness is part of a normalization of the energy cycle at a cellular level. Who can say.
