Guest guest
I read something yesterday on one of the post's about the doseage amount. Someone said something about if you are 105 lbs or less, you should take the 4.5 mg's. My question is if you weigh more than 105, should you be on 3 mgs? Guest guest
WHAT WERE YOUR COMPLAINTS WITH 4.5? JUST WONDERING, FOR THE PAST TWO DAYS KIND OF FEEL LOUSY WITH A HEADACHE AND LIGHT HEADED. BEEN ON 4.5 FOR ABOUT 7 WEEKS. KIM
Guest guest
Hi Tom, The good days that are better than other days is more likely to have to do with what you ate or didn't eat then the endorphins in my opinion. I had the "" blood test to identify allergens and when I avoid those allergens there is a definite, noticeable difference in how I feel. I am not always disciplined in avoiding them but it is making me more convinced that it is so. Regards, Tom ----- Original Message ----- From: Tom low dose naltrexone Sent: Tuesday, August 03, 2004 7:53 PM Subject: [low dose naltrexone] Dosage As far as I know, the brain produces different amounts of endorphins every day, depending on a variety of circumstances. So how do you match a regular dose of LDN with an irregular natural occurance of endorphins? Could that be why finding the right dosage is often so difficult? I usually take 4.5 LDN, but then again I have better days than others. Could it be that if I knew my variable natural endorphin production - how I don't know - I could match it with a variable dose of LDN to come up with an "optimum" dose? Now that I have a taste of feeling better, and know that this is possible, I guess I want to continue to progress, or at least not regress. That's why I am curious about the dosage factor. Anybody have any ideas? TIA Tom from Edmonton
Guest guest
Tom - I have often wondered about the same thing " the brain produces different amounts of endorphins every day, depending on a variety of circumstances. So how do you match a regular dose of LDN with an irregular natural occurance of endorphins " and because of that thought, I decided that when I am using my Revia meds (which is about 50% of the time) I use the pony bead scoop method, which by it's nature is not all that exact, thereby giving myself a slightly different dosage (I am figuring somewhere between 3.0 - 4.5). I have yet to determine if I have more " good days " when I am on the varied Revia doses, or if I have more " good days " when I am on the more regulated script meds. To be honest, most of my days are " good days " unless I eat something bad, or way, way overdo. If I ever decide that one is better than the other, I will let everyone know what I think about this.
