Guest guest
Dear bhumi, The practice of pharmacy is different in India, ines and many othe countries compared to how it is practiced in the US. For example many countries like ines do not repackage and relabel Rx's for the individual patient. Smaller bulk packages are given to the patient. There are NO technicians in many countries. What may be considered the same is anatomy, physiology, pathology and pharmacology and YET the drug Trade names for the same generic or chemical names are different. LAWS vary from state to state with FDA laws as the guidelines . So while you have a Pharm B in India the practice of pharmacy most likely differs enough to make a differencein how you answer the operations questions.... until you get experienceas a tech. You may go to my files section Folder # 5 Tutorial - and Study Information Find Folder Tools for Studying and another for Quizzes (Tests and Worksheets) Those should help you a lot. Please read my last few posts regarding English as a second language, which may help you also. Since you are in California as I am, I highly recommend that you attend a PTCB preparation course or an adult school tech class. You may get an externship or on hands experience from the class which will help you in studying for the exam and possibly getting a job. I am sure I will need more help from you then. I do appreciate for your advise about the future study. I have been working as Pharmacy Tech for mail order service Prescription Solutions from November 2006. It is harder now when I have more over time hours from work. For a study plan I got from email, I had some questions. Some subjects I could not open them. I cannot form any subject but sure to email you later when I get trouble. Again thanks a lot for your email. I will need more help from you and study group. I wish you a Happy New Year. Linh Tran
