Bee Pollen

Actually, bee pollen must be stored properly and many hfs has no clue how to do it.. it MUST be kept FROZEN to keep its properties and do any good. It deteriorates rapidly at room temps. When you purchase it, keep it in the freezer at home and take out only what you are consuming for that dose. Also it IS better to get pollen that is harvested from the area where you live so you basically get 'inoculated' when you take it.

Dh works for a beekeeper that uses and sells it (some of his goes to Azure) so he learned how to harvest, store and use it. It's great stuff! Just watch for allergies to it. My dh takes it daily and i'm allergic and can't touch the stuff. He also gets stung by the honeybees regularly and has no trouble with arthritis. Yep it really works, at least for him.

Glad it worked for you. I took it years ago and it didn't seem to do anything for me. Maybe they are better bee's by now! :) D

I take Bee Pollen every morning. I put 1 tsp. on top of my cereal,

don't often eat cereal. But I do try to eat blueberries every morning

and put 1 tsp on top of the blue berries and then add yogurt. This is

so yummy!! I tried adding bee pollen to my smoothies but but they don't

seem to mix too well in the blender but I guess you could add them later.

I don't see why you couldn't add them to your green drink...they are

sweet tasting.

Well now you eat it but do keep it refrigerated or in the freezer. A

teaspoonful a day working your way up to one to 2 tablespoonfuls per day.

How did all those avocados turn out? No more hurricanes on the horizon I

pray.

Okay, but how do I take it? LOL Do I add it to something? Do I just eat it from the spoon? What? Can you tell I have never tried this before! lol

Caroline

Store it in the freezer and start with a teaspoon a day,,, increasing to 1 tablespoon or two over time.

The Avacados kind of pooped out on us. We could not really figure out a way to eat them that either of us truly cared for. Guess that is one less project I have to worry about in the future (growing the tree that is! lol). I am, however, now determined to have a lemon tree in my back yard. The people behind me have a grapefruit tree that I am watching carefully...they have these HUGE grapefruit on them...still green. These things are just the biggest grapefruit I have ever seen. Can't wait to make a few of the disappear from the tree and reappear in my kitchen! lol

Hurricane season is almost over, thank goodness...November 1 is when they claim it to be over, so should be pretty quiet til then. Plus we are starting to see some "cold fronts" here. Which of course means mid to upper 60's at night and mid 80's during the day...lol. BUT it is much drier than usual...only getting to about 50% humidity as opposed to 90 to 100% humidity.

So, do I just eat it straight? Can I add it to water and make a sweetened water? or add it to something else? Just thinking. Also...was going to start taking some ACV in water in the morning. Read somewhere that it will help with cleaning stuff out, so I figured I would just add it to my daily routine. Can I add it to that to help it not taste so icky? :o)

As a Florida native, and a new second-homeowner in Port St. Lucie, I can tell you that hurricane season is over "officially" on 11/30.

In my new house in PSL, my wish list for trees is two Key limes, one calamondin orange, one ruby red grapefruit, two lemons, two avocadoes, and to replace the guava and frangipani which I lost during hurricane Jeanne. My mother already bought me the ruby red grapefruit as a birthday gift (it's lived through three hurricanes now, hiding in her garage as needed<G>)....the insurance company will replace the guava and frangipani; I'll buy the others once the pool is finished and I know the lay of the landscape. We move down on 12/15.

Oh there are so many good ways to eat avocados and they are so good for

you. Oh well. Maybe next time. Hehehe

Just eat the bee pollen straight. Right off the old spoon or mix it in a

smoothie or some juice. I don't know that the bee pollen will help make

ACV taste any better though. But hey, you can try! :-)

As long as your are not continuing to add in more mucus into your body

then the ACV in water will help to make your body more alkaline. Lemon

is much better for cutting the mucus though. ;-)
