Guest guest
Hi Reg, Maybe I’m a sissy, but I think that my physical condition get’s worse when taking the LDN – especially in the morning. I’m having SPMS and diagnosed in dec. last year – and now having some trouble walking. My hope with LDN is to stop the progression, and it worries me that my conditions seems to get worse after taking the pills. But if this is a symptom that disappears with time – I will certainly continue. The problem is – will the symptom disappear – and will LDN stop SPMS progression? I still do it even though every initial stretch sets off a spasm. They get better with time. I have read of others with the same symptom - and my question is: Should I stop taking LDN or is this just a side effect that with time will disappear? Thanks for a great group - with lots of information from user to user. ____________________________________________________ IncrediMail - Email has finally evolved - Click Here
Guest guest
Carsten You do have a dilema but all I can say is the odds that L.D.N. is making your M.S. worse is very very slim.Almost nonexistant however at any time you can have a return of your symptoms, due to an infection, stress,or as I found out an improperly compounded batch(capsules that should have had three mgs. that actually had 1.0 mgs.or 2.0)or the reverse. We are all so different in our needs and mine are that the amount has to be so acurate that no way could I use homebuilt liquid formulation. Now that my compounding pharmacist knows that, I am getting better every month. Did you read that I actually walked the other night without my cane or dragging my leg? This has taken eight months to achieve but so what, I have way more time than money. And I also have had S.P.M.S. for years now. Patience is mandatory. L.D.N. is not a cure it only allows our bodys to heal themselves by stopping the onslaught of M.S. I believe that depending on what we give our bodys to work with we will repair faster or slower, it's like a carpenter building a house if you limit the guy buy only giving him ten boards a day he will build the house over a period of years, but give him all the boards he needs and it will get done much faster. However only as fast as he can build it. Well I haven't had my breakfast yet so I guess I had better give my carpenter some more boards.
