Guest guest
Louise, I understand the dilemma you are feeling especially as this is a childhood friend and you would probably feel very hesitant for giving advice on such a serious condition she is dealing with. even though Ultra Low Dose Naltrexone and Morphine is being trialed for pain relief at the moment, we are not doctors or scientists to know what strengths of either ULDN or Morphine they are clinically trialling and what methods they are using, etc. Its a tough call, and all you can do is talk to her about LDN and if she wants to make up her own mind and is in a desperate situation to try anything, she at least can be well informed and discuss with her doctors why she wants to take LDN and maybe even get in contact with the researchers who are doing the trial at the moment? Im sure this research article was in Bostoncure website about a month ago. You may want to go in and find the article and chase up some more information. What is the difference between Hodgkins Lymphoma and Non Hodgkins Lymphoma anyhow? Will LDN only help with her pain or can it alter the course of this disease? What does Dr Bihari's webpage say about it? I wish her all the best. Friday > > 2nd message to > to all who post here > do I tell my childhood friend (who I havent seen for years) but who (Ive just found out) is slowly dying of Hodgkins Lymphoma about the possibility of LDN helping her?? she is 43 > She has been on morphine or methadone for the last year for the pain...and her own doctors are unlikely to prescribe it and shed have to go off the opiates??? > > Ethical dilemma here!! > >
