Guest guest Posted August 14, 2008 Report Share Posted August 14, 2008 Dear All, especially California technicians: CSHP is always on the ball for updating members of LEGAL issues in California: This is a legal issue that may affect compounding technicians, keep your eye on this one as it develops: New Regulations Proposed to Pharmacies that Compound Sterile Injectable Products The California Board of Pharmacy announced that it will open an official rulemaking file on newly proposed compounding regulations very soon. The board has adopted regulations to implement provisions for pharmacies that compound sterile injectable products, and currently looking to expand the requirements for all pharmacies that compound drug products. These proposed regulations could have a significant impact on your practice!
