whats next after pharmacy technician?

Is it Pharmacist after the technician position? I believe that depends whether

you are in retail / clinic / hospital / insurance /.. industry. I trying to

understand what's growth from this position (Pharmacy tech).

you can specialize into different areas (inventory, nuclear, chemo, etc.) and

there are supervisory roles such as tech supervisor, operations supervisor,

infusion services supervisor.

Dear saibhan01  and All,

 

Karin is correct! And lets add educators too! :)

 

But if you are thinking that your experience or college/classroom credits can

transfer to other college or degree coursework this is not so. One would have

to  be accepted into a Pharm D program to become a pharmacist. Beginning with

undergrad coursework and then apply to a Pharm D program seems to be the best

avenue or completion of a BS degree and then applying to a  Pharm D program.
