Guest guest
I live in Alberta and was put off by my Neuro towards LDN. I approached my GP with information from the internet about LDN telling him that I would really like to try this and he helped me with the prescription. He figured that I had done my research and I should be the one to decide, after all it is my body and my future. Guest guest
I never went to my Nuero as getting in to see him is like you have to make your appt. two months in advance. So since my regular Dr. was in Australia as an exchange thing for a year,I just went to my Dr.s replacement (filling in for him)and after a quick consult with him with my wife at my side.he said only on my Nuero's advice! I was crushed as I knew what he would say! Sure enough the letter came back that no he didn't recommend this as there has been no trials(duh) and possible liver failure could result! Well when I heard this I went right in to this Dr. with all the rest of the data and my wife, and we gave him the old team play. His exact words were "well I can see you are going to get this no matter what I say so I might as well give you a prescription, as this amount can't possibly hurt you!" I then got a 4.5mg for a month prescription.I got these in 1.5mg caps with Acidophilus filler and at this point we didn.t know that Alberta blue cross would cover it. So I paid the thirty dollars and was glad to. The next month my regular Dr. got back from Aus. and when he heard how much better I was on this and when he learned that Joe Tabler in RedDeer was compounding it he wrote my prescription for three months w/o any qualms whatsoever.
