I hear ya about times being tough even with my wife working full time and me being on Canada Pension Plan Disability we still watch our every penny.

20,000.00 is almost a years income!

I want to see how others can get together 20 large to try this we basically live on 2000.00 a month and are proud that we can.

To even get let alone pay back a 10,000.00 loan would be impossible at this time.

Would going to California for Cord Stem Cell Therapy be less costly for you? If so, I just returned from my CSCT. The cost for the therapy was $10,000 because we went as a group. There is another group planned in the near future. I flew into San Diego and was shuttled over to Mexico to the clinic where I and several others received the cells.

I believe I told you that my husband and I went over to Mexico on the 21st of last month and both received cord stem cells. I have a rare auto immune (incurable) disease and my husband has diabetes.

Here are my comments Bestaunt. I can only speak for myself. They do not know what caused my disease, they are not certain how to treat the symptoms of my disease, and they certainly don't have a cure for my disease. Was I hesitant? Not for one moment.

This stem cell issue is full of controversy and emotion. Please do not bring this conflict to this forum. I'm sure other forums exist where you can express your concerns. Your viewpoints are your own, and while they are undoubtedly shared by many, your conviction that you are right does not mean that you truly are, nor do your convictions give you the right to attack others and accuse them of murder. If you have a concern regarding the source of the stem cells involved in this therapy do a little research that will perhaps ease your mind. In less than two minutes on the web I was able to learn that:

tradpab916, Aegis would like to point out, that little knowledge can

lead you up the wrong tree.

-Most cord blood stem cells are obtained from milking the placenta

after the baby has been delivered. If the cord cells were not

collected, they would be going to the trash inside the placenta.

- While it is true that scientists have tried to grow stem cells out

of dead fetuses in petri dishes, these are better called as embryonic

stem cells as opposed to cord stem cells. Nobody transfuses embryonic

stem cells.

Having said that, Aegis feels that there is not enough evidence that

cord stem cells work, but some think they do and this is a free

country.
