Guest guest
ph, When did this become a law? Is this only for doctors? I had my tests ordered from Great Smokies by an acupunturist and there didn't seem to be a problem.
Guest guest
Hi , Technically it applies to all NY licensed health-care providers. The main concern is with physicians. I have not heard of any cases against non-physicians. It only becomes an issue if there is a complaint against a healthcare provider for anything. Once the State conducts an investigation and they find that out-of-state blood test were ordered that will be added to any eventual charges. Your acupuncturist has no reason for concern unless and until someone files a complaint against her/him. ph
