If you would like to be mentioned in this article please contact me privately at rxjm2002@... With all the recent negativity in the news regarding pharmacy technician errors and mishaps I think it would be nice if we had an article that highlighted the good deeds, achievements and aspirations of Pharmacy Technicians. PLEASE submit any promotions, special titles and recognition for spcial projects completed with a pharmacist or many years service at one company etc. I have had 5 people give me permission to use their information and 2 have allowed me to use their photos. In addition to recognizing your good work, you will be allowing your service to be a role model for up and coming NEW techs. You will give HOPE to those who are studying and to those just beginning the technician journey. You show that technicians are very important to healthcare. You prove daily that we are significant and we earn our pay and we deserve respect. Please include name, title, credentials, location of work, job duites, Special achievement: college classes completed, promotion, moving on to RPh, Rn, PhD, BS, MS ??? IV Certification? PTCB item writer!? Rx Software expert, automation , lead teach, inventory control? you name i, there is a need to show that techs do and can progress.
