Yeah, the garlic could make it worse- it won't make the Ringworm worse specifically, but it may irritate her skin used that way and the results will be temporary- more than likely. I would not advise it for a young child anyway. I don't know her age- sorry. It's not likely to do enough good to justify it. I'd infuse some garlic instead to use in a salve or oil or add to the diet. Diet is key and boosting the immune system. Careful not to feed the fungus with sugar or processed foods. I'd need to know her age, health, diet and any other specifics to make any specific suggestions. Be careful as it is highly contagious. A good blend should be used daily for 10-14 days- at least- *following* no symptoms. That means to treat for one month 3x daily. Very important. What size are the rings? You should also boost your own Echinacea and TT intake to protect yourself--so easy for the whole house to get infected as it spreads so easily. Don't share a towel or soap etc,, Does she take a probiotic/ any supplements? I gotta get some sleep. I'll check back tomorrow. Garlic may be useful. I would just make a good strong infusion vs the clove personally for a child since it may irritate directly on the skin. There are many herbs and essential oils that are highly anti fungal but if what you have readily available is Garlic by all means use it. What else do you have to work with in your natural medicine cabinet btw? Guest guest
Black Walnut hull or a decoction of oak bark will also work. Guest guest
Hi Angel. I've had some success treating ringworm with Total Tonic. When got it a couple of times, maybe from school, maybe not, I washed it several times a day with TT, and let it air out as much as possible, depending on what part of the body it is on. The only reason, I must admit, that I let it air out is because I seem to remember my mom saying that when I was a kid. Anyway, the TT seems to work wonders. What size are the rings? Well, right now...well, we are all pretty much on the sad diet right now. No excuses, we just are for now. is 10 and in pretty much good health right now....well, something's going on, the ringworm tells me that. Anyhow, she weighs 103lbs. and is almost as tall as me (I'm 5' 1"). The rings are just about the size of a dime, raised on the edges, clear in the middle. The raised edges are red, of coarse. I can already see this taking forever...my mother thinks kids need a little sweets every now and then... Anyhow, I guess it's not going to do much good to treat it with anything when the fungus is just getting fed as well. Thanks, Angel

Steeping and leaching won't do it, but simmering will.Begin by putting the raw materials into a pot and add fresh water. Simmer uncovered until the water content is reduced by 1/3 usually in about 10 to 20 min. Strain before drinking. Thank you, thank you...you are just about too good to us, do you know that? I am planning to catch up this weekend as will be away. Please send me your address off list and I will send you something. You'll see how it works and if you need more we can discuss it. You must treat for a month. I can get you started at least. If you'll do this 3x daily and let me know how she is doing that would be grand. Also- cut out the SAD diet- just do it in some ways- do what you can. This is the source of it- a weakened immune system. Ringworm on the face is not good. It can cause her hair to be lost and other more nasty stuff- you really do need to address it now- maybe as a BLESSING.Remember the wise quote that shared:"There are two ways to live your life. Guest guest
Hey I have 7% too for the "kids"... works fast on them... Suzi"oldglory@..." <oldglory@...> wrote: Hi,I raise goats and these are close to humans in diseases. For ringworm, which is very simple to cure, I merely use whatever is closest at hand (bleach, iodine or whatever). If I had ringworm I would use either iodine or bleach; probably iodine because if you are deficient in iodine it is said you will absorb it through the skin. In an iodine deficient goat I would paint on iodine every day until it stopped being absorbed. Some say ringworm is an expression of iodine deficiency. I don't know this though. My point is, it is easy to cure and I merely use a Q-tip and paint the ringworm every day until I'm satisfied it is gone. I have 7% iodine which I use for newborn kids to stop navel ill and will use this if it is closest but if you use this strength on a human's skin (I douse my hands regularly), it can peel off a layer of skin. 3% iodine would be my choice to use on myself if I had ringworm.Baugh
Guest guest
Thanks Suzi, It will always be okay, on this list, to assist another in need whenever and however possible. Bartering or trading, of surplus, for any health related problems (mental, spiritual, physical, pet) is highly encouraged on list. Selling of products and/or services may be done off list in private but anybody can let anyone know what products and/or services they have to offer on list. Or third, or fourth or fifth...My computer has been giving me troubles. I thought I had a virus. It would just shut down all the way after about thirty minutes or so...
