If narcolepsy has been ruled out maybe you need to be checked for severe de=

pression, diabetes, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Epstein Barr Virus. Certain p=

ersonality disorders have excessive sleeping as the first symptom.

Thanks Bren - I've been checking out things for 30 years and have eliminated all of those. This is the latest glimmer of hope. I do come from a family with alcoholics on both sides. It seems to have skipped me, but if low endorphins cause addiction, than you may become addicted to what ever temporarily raised them. Just another theory, but science does continually advance.

Good that you're free of that problem. LDN therapy is certainly worth a try for you given the low impact nature of the drug.
