Hi MVillena,

The Vit E content of ANH-VCO is not the only reason why it is more expensive

than other VCO.

here are some the reasons why we are more expensive:

1. Our raw material or the coconuts that we use is carefully chosen to be

mature and from 12 months old. If in the process, one batch will be mixed with

younger coconuts, our emulsion (mixture) will not naturally separate. Since

these nuts are carefully chosen, one by one, we have to pay for a higher price

from the farmers. when coconuts are sold for let us say PhP6.00 we are paying

an extra 50 centavos to 1peso for the carefully selected nuts. And do not forget

the labor fee of the persons assigned to do the very careful selection.

2. When most producers, especially those following the heated process produces 1

liter of VCO from 9 to 10 nuts; we use an average of 15 nuts to make 1 liter of

VCO;

3. When other producers, can sell their VCO right after extracting them, we

only sell our VCO after 3 weeks or 21 days ;

4. ANH-VC0 passes through at least 3 filtering processes. First and second are

right after extraction before it is set aside for 21 days and the 3rd is before

bottling. Some producers like CocoVida even follows 4 to 5 filterings.

5. Although this is not a part of the " costing " of our final product, see and

visit the production facility and plants of most of the ANH-VCO producers and

you can tell the difference from there too. You will not at all hesitate to

drink your oil because you can see from the very first step up to the final step

how we strictly observe GOOD MANUFACTURING practice. From the time the selection

of nuts is done to the final sealing of the bottles you can see that in every

process cleanliness is strictly observed.
