Guest guest
One definition of a " real " exacerbation is if it requires steroids or hospital admission. In contrast, " pseudo " attacks imply temporary worsening of symptoms, or mild symptoms which spontaneously go away in a day or two. These definitions are not perfect, but practical. Many clinical trials define relapses as incidents requiring hospital admission or i.v. steroids. Yash
