Guest guest
I find this interesting, as my husband has also had a worsening of sympyoms since starting LDN. He has been under a lot of stress, coincidently, since starting it. He has unfortunately been asked to retire from work at age 44 and has also lost his driving license through having had an Epileptic seizure in Dec last year. As many of you know, when you're not too good on your feet the car is one of your main means of getting about. I am now wondering if this has , perhaps, contributed to LDN not working as well as it may have if he wasn't under as much stress. Hopefully things will settle down and the LDN will get a chance to work. Any comments? Thanks, Ali
Guest guest
Hi Friday As strange as this may seem I was just thinking about this yesterday, and realised I hadn,t heard from those that claimed the clock was running backwards for them either. I was worried it would do that for me and I didn,t want double vision, light sensitivity, tingling fingers and exterme fatigue again. So far so good none of these have come back to haunt me at all! I don,t believe it will as we are all different and respond different to anything. Where is this documented or stated so I too can make some sense of it? Any ideas where to look into it?Regards,Friday ____________________________________________________ IncrediMail - Email has finally evolved - Click Here
Guest guest
Ali, it's possible that the LDN IS working. Without it the worsening symptoms your husband is currently experiencing might instead have been a serious exacerbation. Of course there is no way of knowing, but perhaps it has been an aid during this stressful time. He sure has my sympathy regarding the loss of his driver's license. A co worker of mine lost his for a year due to a misdiagnosis. He had a migraine stroke that was diagnosed as an epileptic seizure, was put on anti seizure medication, and the doctor refused to take him off the med. The doctor threatened to have his license pulled permanently if he quit taking the medicine. At the time I had a neuro I really liked, so my friend went to see him and got the whole thing straightened out. It was a very difficult time for he and his family. Hang in there, life has ups as well as downs. It sounds like it's about your turn to have some ups... ----- Original Message ----- From: Alidewar37@... low dose naltrexone Sent: Thursday, July 08, 2004 6:30 AM Subject: Re: [low dose naltrexone] Re: psuedo attack and re-visiting old health problems I find this interesting, as my husband has also had a worsening of sympyoms since starting LDN.
