I just found out today that I passed the exam, so I'm thrilled and I

want to really thank Jeanetta and everyone who contributes to this site.

I have no experience in pharmacy and prepared for this exam entirely

from this site and two books (Delmar's Pharmacy Technician

Certification Exam Review and ston's Certification Exam Review:

The Pharmacy Technician Series) The Delmar book was my bible for

pharmacology and learning the drug classifications and trade/generic.

ston's book is excellent for reviewing the information and

assisting the RPh information.

Jeanetta, I know about a week ago you were polling people on the exam

so I'd love to add what I can:

I took the exam December 28 in Somerset, NJ

I feel the exam was about 35% math (which helped me out A LOT)

The parts that were hard for me were generic/trade. The ones they

chose I didn't recall from the top 200 list, so possibly hospital drugs?

I have absolutely no experience in pharmacy, but I am an undergrad

chemistry major so I am strong in math and biochem.

There were several questions regarding automatic dispensing. I don't

want to go into detail because of the honor code, but advice to all

out there know a lot about automatic dispensing!

I can't think of anything else to add now, but if anyone wants to know

more, let me know! You all have helped me so much throughout my

studying, I'd love to give back any way I can!

Thanks again!!
