Guest guest
As I understand it, your body produces almost all of it's endorphines during the wee hours of the morning. (Except for those that are produced by extreme excersise and activity) By taking the LDN and tricking your body into thinking you don't have any endorphines (in the hours prior to it's normal production time) your body will increase it's endorphine production which boosts the immune system. Taking the drug in the morning or daytime, after it's natural endorphine production time would negate LDN effect on that process. Guest guest
Very good question RO, I've heard brief responses to this and why building antibodies between 9pm - 3am is most advantages, but I'd love for one of our members to further explain. Since it can disturb sleep, is there any reason you could not take your dose in the morning? Thanks, RO
Guest guest
here is parts of a message I saved posted by KiKi on this subject: Best time to take LDN Dr. Bihari. said the Circadian Clock had nothing to do with LDN, but rather the earths revolving magnetic field does. That is why LDN should be taken at night even if you work in the day. Circadian rhythem is not a factor. Showed Dr. B the graph sent of 24hr. beta endorphin release. He said the graph was from his research paper but the wording was not his, and was incorrect! ***Also- Dr. B suggested taking LD-Phnylaline 500mgs in the morning. May help endorphin level last longer during day. ***I also asked about how often I should have my liver tested. He said once a year, when I get my physical, which is normal for most everyone. > Very good question RO, I've heard brief responses to this and why building > antibodies between 9pm - 3am is most advantages, but I'd love for one of our > members to further explain. > >
Guest guest
Thanks for your definition Cinders. Has anyone here ever tried taking their lnd during the day? I would think because our bodies would not be creating additional endorphins we would feel pretty awful. -----Original Message----- From: Cinders [mailto:allentownusa@...] Sent: Wednesday, July 21, 2004 11:48 AM low dose naltrexone Subject: [low dose naltrexone] Re: Taking dose in the morning??? Guest guest
When I first started using ldn, taking it at bedtime kept me awake so I started taking it during the daytime as a way to get it into my system. In the beginning, I was taking 1.5 mgs twice a day. Now that I've been increasing my night time dose, I've been taking 1.5 once a day about 12 hours after my night time dose. I plan to stop the daytime dose as soon as I can get the bedtime dose close to 3 mgs. So far, I've been very pleased with ldn (except, perhaps for the sleeping issue) and have definitely benefitted from the day time doses. Endorphins ARE produced or increased during the day from exercise, excitement, etc. Perhaps LDN can do the same. There is so much to learn. Best wishes to everyone- --- In low dose naltrexone , " Baden " <lbaden@t...> wrote: > Thanks for your definition Cinders. Has anyone here ever tried taking their > lnd during the day? Guest guest
Thanks Johanne, I had no idea that the earths revolving magnetic had anything to do with why we take ldn at night. Thanks for the explanation! -----Original Message----- From: Johanne F [mailto:johannef@...] Sent: Wednesday, July 21, 2004 4:34 PM low dose naltrexone Subject: [low dose naltrexone] Re: Taking dose in the morning??? here is parts of a message I saved posted by KiKi on this subject: Best time to take LDN Dr. Bihari. said the Circadian Clock had nothing to do with LDN, but rather the earths revolving magnetic field does.
