Guest guest
Dear All, I do not know who makes these cards, and I do not know how good they are. But I have had several posts like this that I have not posted but have continued to ask questions of he poster for links etc and have never gotten an answer. This means it is possible that the poster is the seller or is helping the seller. I am posting this out of fairness to the last post by Joe Medina. HOWEVER that being said as an instructor I ALWAYS recommend that one MAKES his or her own study tools when ever possible such as e-flash cards using www.studystack.com After reading Joe's post regarding Anki flash cards and checking out other such as Audio Flash, I have to say if you need sound that the BEST BUY is NO PURCHASE AT ALL with QUIZLET it has automatic audio. Since it is a digital voice it is not always correct, but most of the time it is. You can ALSO make your OWN flash cards using powerpoint and place your own recording on the card. I will make an example and place it on this site. Hope this helps, and rememeber we learn best by experience. So if you are making the flash cards then you are creating an experience other than using your credit card or wallet on a %5 pack and waiting for them to arrive. You can instead use the SAME time, SAVE a dime and Make your OWN! Jeanetta Mastron CPhT BS Founder/Owner > > Hello, > > I found some very help study tools. You find these Exam Resources in ebay. I bought some PTCB flashcards and practice exams. They really helped me to pass the exam and they only cost me $.99 to $4.99. It was definitely worth it, they are 5 stars. > > Good luck, Gregg >
Guest guest
Hi Everyone, I have seen many flash card sales on ebay that to say nicely ... are a total ripoff. Just posting this to inform and hopefully save someone from getting ripped off. examples: --------------- " 6,000 Flashcards for PTCB PTCE Pharmacy Technician Exam " just look at the examples given and you will see the cards are geared towards a Pharmacist (NAPLEX) exam not the PTCB exam. 6000 Pharmacology questions are nice to know, if you can even understand them, but is this worth 2 or 3 basic questions asked on the national exam? --------------- " Secrets of the PTCB Exam " again geared towards the Pharmacist (NAPLEX) exam as the Pharmacology is nice to know but may only encompass 2 or 3 questions on the national exam out of the hundreds they want you to study, if you can even understand them. --------------- " Flashcard Study System for the PTCB Exam " same people who sell the Secrets of the PTCB Exam --------------- then Dawn managed to get tons of her books, flash cards, etc. on ebay and claims to be a former item writer, pharmacist and knows all you need to know because her questions are the ones you will see on the national exam and she just knows it all. I have not checked her material out, but at least it does appear to be about the PTCB exam and not some Pharmacist exam. --------------- Tech Lectures Review Manual/CD ROM As for my own? I just do the best to ensure that I give what is necessary and hope not too many get ripped off with other products on Ebay. Of course that is what Tech Lectures is about in helping those in need along the way in their chosen vocation.
