Dear Beth,

Take the 'original' copies (downloads) of the CE's and place them in a

file where you can find them around the time your cert expires. IF

PTCB sends you a 'audit' notice you will have them ready. IF you get

audited: make a copy of each of them and what ever else they ask of

you, then send the copies to them via snail mail (be sure to retain

your own set of copies).

This is there way of keeping tabs that we are not lying about doing

our CE's. Keeps us honest!

Secondly, you should keep a word document log in your desk top of each

and every CE test you took + date + COMPLETE CE information title,

author, site address, even a electronic copy of the CE if it will

allow you to. CEU credit earned. Name of company or sponsor. EVERY

thing on that such as class codes etc. Make a table of it and KEEP it

from time to time download a hard copy and save with the folder copies.

Some day when you feel trustworthy of e-commerce you will not need

hard copies.

Also each company that offers online CE usually but not always allows

you to store the information in a transcript bank on their site,

accessible upon log in.

You can also make a copy of this and keep it in word. If you click on

it you should be able to see your CE Certificate.

You can also make a table of your transcripts in your PTCB

'transcript' section of your account on their site also accessible

upon log in.

Doing this makes it soooooooooo much easier if you do not get audited

as everything is all right there.

Beth: I hope that I have helped to answer your question. Take care!

Well

I actually completed the CEs in Feb 07. I am not due

to renew until Nov 08. I did them very early. I

found free ones, and didnt want to take the chance of

a charge later. I took one test, then went to the

next but didnt print them as I went along. I think I

can go to the site and print them now. It lets me log

in. My printer isnt working right now, so I havent

tried to print. (I need ink). I will make a couple

copies when I finally get it printed. I just am not

sure if they will mail me asking for them, or if I

mail them in. Where do I mail them to? How early can

I submit them? I would love to do it now, to get it

off my mind or prevent me from forgetting.

Thanks

Beth

print out the certificates and keep them until you get

the renewal notice. then you tell them what ones ya

did. if you are one of the luck ones to get audited

you have to send in copies of the certificates.

When it is time for you to re-new you have to tell the

PCTB what ones you took. they will tell you at that

time if you need copies to mail in or not. they don't

have the info. that's why there is a random number

audited--to keep us honest when turning in the CE

form.

The CEs that I took, will they automatically go to

the right place? You said they would let me know if

they want copies, so I assumed that means they will

already have the info, and they may want me to back

it up? Sorry for all the questions, just trying to

get it straight.
