Dear All,

I just posted several posts about pharm technology.

While the PTCB or ExCPT will not have much on the exam about

these topics that I posted, YOU will or should know about them as

upcoming changes in pharmacy. Federal mandates and state legislation

is controling this issue. However it is a GLOBAL issue as well.

I suggest once you are a CPhT or if you are currently practicing as a pharm tech

that you update your knowedge of such. Watch the videos and read the laws.

IF you are clueless begin with what is e-pedigree.

If you are studying for thePTCB/ExCPT exam I would suggest that you put your

time into that study and not bother with this topic until you have passed the

exam, put you time into studying the topics on the exam and then once you have

passed that you return to this topic. IF you are a practicing tech who is not a

CPhT then I would take the time to familiarize your self with this topic.

Recall once you take/pass the CPhT exam you are advised and welcome to stay on

as a member for updates and education of new information, discussion of new

practrices and law.
