Dear Bhumi_Bhuma,

As long as the CE is valid meaning not expired when you take it AND you take it

during the two years that your certificate is valid/not expired it is

acceptable.

Example your PTCB certificate is valid 3-31-10 to 3-31-12

You find a CE that will expire on 9-30-11

You take the CE test on 8-31-11 and pass

You may submit that CE information on your PTCB e-transcript

Make sure to keep a hard copy.

In addition, in most cases the CE that expires on 9-30-11 will not allow you to

take the exam on or after that epiration date.

Hope this helps!
