Does it matter what grade u get??

Hey guys,

I am new to this group. I was wondering does it matter what grade u get on the

pharm tech exam? or does it only matter that u passed.

Dear djoe,

 

Your score will matter ONLY if the employer wantst or know or see it and may

matte to you.

 

Employers usually ask for a copy of the Certificate that shows that you passed

and it does not show your score/grade.

 

Your score will matter if you are in a school that grades you on that score

grade (rare).

 

Your score will matter if you felt you should have done better or you did 

better than you thought you would and/or you compare your score to that of

another. 

 

 

In the end only your certificate of passing that you ARE a CPhT matters.

 

So if you get 650 (min passing) on the PTCB exam and another person gets 850

then you both passed and you are both CPhT's.
