Guest guest
Skip's in Florida uses a paper filler and is a lot cheaper too! My husband has had no side effects on the 4.5mg. We have such nice service and good results, thought I'd put a little plug for them in! Guest guest
I wish I could use Skip's pharmacy but he only uses Avicel as a filler and I'm allergic to Avicel. Avicel caused me nausea, headache and near vomiting. I use Lactose and do just fine on it.
Guest guest
Where do you get your lactose filled LDN? And how much do you pay? I'm using calcium carbonate and get nauseous from that. Thanks. --- In low dose naltrexone , " Bren " <TwisterAlley2@w...> wrote: > I wish I could use Skip's pharmacy but he only uses Avicel as a filler and I'm allergic to Avicel. I use Lactose and do just fine on it. ============ Where I get my LDN filled w/Lactose is too expensive but it's here in my home state of Arkansas(Cantrell Drug Co in Little Rock, AR, Wagner~pharmacist). Irmat Pharmacy in New York is where you can order LDN w/Lactose filler and Irmat is cheaper than my pharmacy. Dr. Bihari sends his patients to Irmat. Go to the LDN home page and look up Irmat's phone number and ask them if you could get your current LDN script switched to them since they use Lactose as a filler. Have you asked your current pharmacy if they could change you to Lactose? http://www.low dose naltrexone.org
Guest guest
I have had nausea off and on more so after taking LDN. I have a colitis/crohns type condition and have found that the nausea is often related to bowel changes and or movements. Something to keep in mind... Other things I have noticed after taking LDN. More night/day sweats, and a bit more hair loss. I would be bothered by this except I enterpret these symptoms as my body doing it's " job " immune system wise. My sister lost some hair in response to an infection that she got in Africa so I figure that it is just one of many ways that the immune system fights the good fight. In general, I sleep much better and more consistently through the night, I have less acne, and my digestion has improved tremendously. I've been taking LDN for about a month now. -Cere > > , I will definitely ask Dr. Bihari about that when I see him next > week. Guest guest
The nausea is a 24 hour event. It is no worse after the med, perhaps a little worse in the morning though. ----- Original Message ----- From: Landau low dose naltrexone Sent: Wednesday, August 18, 2004 11:11 AM Subject: [low dose naltrexone] LDN and nausea , I will definitely ask Dr. Bihari about that when I see him nextweek. Guest guest
Most who experience nausea taking LDN is having a reation to the filer, not the LDN. I experienced nausea, near vomiting and headache with the filler Avicel. Some have had trouble with Calcium Carbonate and corn starch. Try Lactose(if not allergic) or Acidophilus(perfect for intestinal problems) as your filler and see if all nausea goes away.
