Guest guest
This article was good for non ms people. But for MS people it was a weird thing to find on one of the more helpful sites,.Swank had 50years + of evidential field work to support a lowfat diet for MS people, with vit d supplemenation. Then research from the 80"S done by Field associates is still valid ,they found that a diet high in the helpful Prostoglandin producing GLA and fishoils ,DHA/EPA stopped the blood in MS people going "Sticky" (producing odd shaped blood platelets) / This stickiness appeared to considerable contributer to a ms persons relapse rate. They did the field work ,experiments and the stats. This was not a feature of normalpeoples blood. Therefore the recommendations of a diet with more of the Good oils ( organic preferably and kept well)rather than saturated fat or trans fatty acids for people with MS is still valid. It doesnt pretend to be a cure by a long shot but it does help and slows down the progression.
