Guest guest
Dear All, I just got this in my private email: " Hi Jeanette, I didn't realize the following was an option: Get 15 hours of FREE CE if you take a college course in life science, chemistry or math, You must get a passing grade and keep a copy of your transcript in case you are audited. How do you " cash in " on this? If you take two courses, is it 30 hours? Thanks, ~Name withheld by Jeanetta " Sorry for the confusion: you can use up to 15 units or hours of college life science, chemistry or math every 2 years or for each certification transcript. Most math or science courses are no more than 3 units. Some science courses are 5 units and include a lab. That is acceptable. Just record it in your PTCB transcript. They meet quarterly > Some states like Oregon have free online CE. > > > Get 2 hours of FREE Online CE on the PTCB. > The PTCB has free Online Continuing Education on their website > Click the re-certification tab for a drop down menu > I donot know if ExCPT offers free CE. > > Get 10 hours of free pharmacy technician CE on the job. > Cannot be your normal duties, but only under the direct supervision of a Pharmacist if you learn new skills or do a project or a report or read a special pharmacy document or ??? you can earn CE. A licensed Pharmacist must sign the PTCB Universal CE Form which you can get on the PTCB site > http://www.ptcb.org/AM/Template.cfm?Section=CE_Credits & Template=/CM/ContentDispl\ ay.cfm & ContentID=3275 > > > Get 15 hours of FREE CE if you take a college course in life science, chemistry or math, You must get a passing grade and keep a copy of your transcript in case you are audited. > > > Supposedly Get 1 hour of FREE CE from the CDC (centers for Disease Control) The CDC currently offers a Health Literacy http://www.cdc.gov/Features/OnlineTraining/ > > If you can actually get the certificate Please let me know! I have not been able to do so. > > Jeanetta Mastron CPhT BS > Founder/Owner of this site >
