Guest guest
I am pursuing LDN to decrease tolerance to and increase the efficacy of opioid drugs for chronic pain, of which I suffer.. A recent study found that LDN reverses the tolerance and hyperalgesia caused by opioids. So when I see my MD next time I will show him the study and procure a script. Will apprise all of you the result, although it's not really germane to those of you suffering from MS. By the way, I've noticed discussions on increasing beta-endorphin. DL-Phenalalynine inhibits the degradation or metabolization of beta-endorphin in the cerebral cortex, thus acting as an analgesic by increasing endorphin in the brain. As you may know, DLPA is an essential amino acid and readily available in most health food stores. But it must be the DL form, not the L form. Good luck and I am very happy so many of you are responding so well to LDN. Dr. S.
