Guest guest
I also had mono in teens! Friday, when I had mononeucleosis ( -about 46 years ago ), in the UK, it was called Glandular Fever: -Same thing, I believe! Re. stress: I remember reading, around 12 years ago, something about many incidences of MS occuring within about 12 months of an episode of emotional stress. This info stayed in my mind because it seemed to be true for me! -I only ever had 2 severe exacerbations, the 1st was around 3 wks over the 12 months after a very intense emotional (relationship!) trauma, & again the 2nd was about 8 or 9 months after a very intense emotional (relationship!) trauma........ I wonder if perhaps any sort of severe stress (or combination of stresses) on the system, whether originating from apparently physical or apparently mental sources may overwhelm the body, if it doesn`t have adequate reserves, & maybe which particular consequential illness manifests may simply depend on what happens to be the "weakest link" in that particular body?
