IMO you wasted your money. I bot some whey at the health food store because

it said 'undenatured' and how well it was prepared with low heat and all.

Well,

after trying the ImmunoPro, I realized that I wasted $28. There is no

comparison

to Pro and what you can get at retail. Immunocal and imuplus sound like they

are

good whey too, but it looks like the best deal is Pro.

Yes, it IS figured in as the cost of doing business. GSK has allocated

$300,000,000 for legal fees alone to fight the lawsuits -- it's chump change to

them.

, with how I looked back then, I certainly don't believe that he totally

invented a reason to operate on me. But he absolutely did tell us that my

thoracic curve was 80 something. And he DID tell us that I'd end up in a

wheelchair. I really believe that this surgery could have waited a while. And

I

KNOW that if I had been allowed to wait, I could have gotten better care. Just

four months after my surgery, new instrmentation was being used. I sat in a

body cast & watched the surgery on television. The newer instrumentation did

not even require casting.

Hey, Reg, I'm not so sure that all of us with progressive MS on LDN are

improving. I'm not. I've been on LDN since mid-August of last year, and

my progression has been slow. I stopped for a month last winter because

I thought it wasn't doing anything for me, and I got rapidly worse. I'm

back on it now but not quite back to where I was before. So it seems to

at least be slowing it down.

Fair enuf

I would think though that the fact it had slowed the progresion,as you can attest to, means that your on the right track.

So what are the chances that you may need more than others? In my case more than 4.5 made me so stiff I couldn't dress myself, but then that was months ago and maybe now my body will accept a larger dose...........Intriguing isn't it?

If you can then you could tentativly try more than the 4.5.

Good Luck

Reg

No Kathy I didn't get you post about the 4 pain docs, would you email them to

me please?? Just in case...

I am told that the pump is a permanent and lasting fix.? It delivers 1/300th of

the amount of medication needed orally.? Even though Florida is one of the few

states that does NOT monitor narcotic pain meds people are coming here just to

get them and it's made the pain docs VERY uneasy.

Like I said I almost recently died because the ER docs were so focused on my

past pain pill use they ignored my GI bleed.? The pain pump is going to be the

answer to that.? I do have a neurosurgeon locally if need be but the pain doc I

'm consulting puts in the pump.

I had to call Boston Scientific yesterday afternoon and complain because the

reps weren't getting back to me.? I got a call this am and a re-program over the

phone of at least one program which has made me at least a bit more

comfortable.? I don't have a problem with leaving it in but I have a feeling

that because my body for some reason produces so much scar tissue there is scar

tissue build up on the leads, and that's why it's been so ineffective.

I pray that the rest of you are having better days...

Hi Mike,

I live in Port St Lucie Florida.? I have been discharged from Dr o Duran's

office, the one that but my stimulator in.? My former doctors Dr Alvarez and

Levine won't take me back because I left them to go to Dr Duran (they had a

nasty split) and the amount of methadone Duran was RX'ing me (480 tabs).? Duran

only wrote it like that for an if you need it, I usually only medicated every

morning before I got up.? The 480 lasted me months saved me from having to go

see Duran every month and because I am a nurse and we had a 6 year relationship

he knew he could trust me.? That has been my problem, others docs see that and

they think I'm drug seeking.? I was recently hospitalized for 11 days with a

massive Gi bleed- it took me three 011 trips to the ER before they took me

seriously, they too thought I was drug seeking.? I have gone to the Nat'l Pain

Institute (Dr Afong), he's the one that told me no more pain pills with the SCS,

he even took my bottle of

Percocet away for breakthrough pain!

I have been off methadone now for a month.? My pain is once again off the charts

and my SCS doesn't even come close to taking it away.? The pain literally

exhausts me..I have no energy and I am hubched over again.? Between that and my

autoimmune diseaase flaring I am totally miserable and unhappy.? I just feel I

have no quality of life, living this way.? I apologize for sounding so negative,

but that's how I feel.? I had one neurologist come in to see me in the

hospital.? He told me the SCS will become ineffective and the only way to get a

grip on my pain is through anInpatient program in Miami, PT and learn how to

mentally block it.? That's crap.? My back has been opened 12 times due to

reconstructive back surgery, and osteomyelitis with MRSA, that almost killed me

it was so bad they had to airlift me to the U of Florida at Shands.? I am so far

beyond PT and biofeedback, Tylenol.? I have been told the scar tissue is so

dense in my back it's as tough as

gristle in a steak, thewy couldn't even get through it to do the epidurals,

rhizotomies. ? I am getting a little relief from Lidoderm patches.

So Mike that's where I'm at, thanks for listening.? There are also 2 pain

clinics that opened in my neighborhood recently- Dr Fox and Dr King- cash only

so you know what's going on there....must be another pill factory.? All you want

for $400 cash.

Have a good day, I look forward to hearing from you...
