Guest guest
Avocado goes great on just about anything! *You can add it diced or sliced to salad, *on top of a sandwich or in a veggie wrap *mashed as a condiment instead of mayo or mustard. *it goes awesome on top of a bowl of black or pinto bean soup, or green chili stew or albondigas soup. *In burritos (veggie or otherwise), on eggs (lol or effs!) *Green goddess dressing is awesome and made from Avo's or you can just slice it up and sprinkle with a bit of fresh lemon or lime juice and some seasoning and eat! can anyone tell i love them?!?!??!? Guest guest
In MY HO.... i think Haas are the absolute best Avo's there are. if you get them when they are just ripe, they are perfect in firmness for salads and even adding to cool summer relishes (recipe later if you guys remind me) and they have the best texture and consistancy for Guac. I have tried many different types including a really exotic (RIDICULOUS PRICE) little finger sized avo. Bacon, fuerte and Pinkerton's I find are too watery and incosistant to that " typical " Avo or guac flavor that most recognize. Well that's my 4 cents Sylvia > Today is the first time I've ever bought avocados. I didn't even know what they looked like so I had to search. > I'll be making those cruncy tacos today. > : ) > ----- Original Message ----- > From: Sylvia > health > Sent: Tuesday, July 06, 2004 2:19 PM > Subject: Re: Avo's > > > Avocado goes great on just about anything! > > *You can add it diced or sliced to salad, > *on top of a sandwich or in a veggie wrap > *mashed as a condiment instead of mayo or mustard. > *it goes awesome on top of a bowl of black or pinto bean soup, or > green chili stew or albondigas soup. > *In burritos (veggie or otherwise), on eggs (lol or effs!) > *Green goddess dressing is awesome and made from Avo's > > or you can just slice it up and sprinkle with a bit of fresh lemon or > lime juice and some seasoning and eat! > > can anyone tell i love them?!?!??!? > > Sylvia > > > > > > >
